A little about yourself:

I am a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo and at the moment I am planning to continue my education this upcoming September at the University of Toronto for a masters in Landscape Architecture. I love graphic design and drawing in my spare time-- eating is also a favourite past time of mine. I like to play mahjong, but I can't keep up with my friend's parents and I doubt they will invite me back to play anytime soon! I hope to get to know more of you in the community over the next couple of years. (:

A little about yourself:

I just finished my third year in my Health Sciences program, but I still have to study in the summer for an upcoming examination haha. Even though my university is in Hamilton, I still stay in touch with Markham/South Unionville as I come back every weekend (as much as I can). That is because I volunteer at the local senior home (Unionville Home Society), and I really enjoy my time there. With any spare time I have, I would like to use it up to brighten other people's lives. Also, I get to eat better food and see my family members haha! Good food is hard to come around as a university student, especially since I am a poor cooker. I have to train my cooking skills later in the summer! I am a huge anime/manga fan as I have mentioned before - If any of you enjoy anime, let's chat! I hope that all of you enjoy this town as much as I do, and together, we can make South Unionville even better and more exciting with amazing events! It's nice to meet you all~ And don't hesitate to ask any questions if you got any for me =D.

A little about yourself

I have been working for Milliken Children Festival since 2006 as a volunteer, then assigned as one of the Operation Committee members in 2008. My tasks include logistic planning, booth layouts, and contacting vendors (non- profits, profits, and food). And, I have been volunteering in the past for Orbis Canada for the Phone Channel Team. Responsible for in-bound calls, managing a team of 20+ people, assisting donors from all across Canada who want to contribute in funding for people who are suffering from eyes' sight problems. And, up-coming, I will be volunteering for TD Tree Day! So, I look forward to that!

As you can see, I LOVE VOLUNTEERING. I always get to meet new people, gain different experiences, explore different things, that's why I feel the importance to give back the community!
